Training & Research
Training area’s main objective, is to equip community leaders (the vulnerable and marginalized populations), teachers and parents, with knowledge and skills, to enable them enhance mental health awareness in their communities.
Further, in -house training on various topics, are organized, to build members’ capacity. This is an going process as PMWC-Ke is keen to, create a dynamic resource pool of lay counsellors within its’ membership.
In terms of Research, PMWC-Ke is putting the necessary structures in place to collaborate /work on projects

Safety in Schools In-House Workshop

On July 25th, the SiS team engaged in an empowering in-house workshop led by SiS Project Leader, Katherine McIlwaine. The day focused on sharpening skills in mental health CV writing, crafting impactful bios, and exploring key topics such as self-efficacy, locus of control, and emotion regulation.
