Community Support
Harambee, the Swahili word means ‘all pull together’. Each time we engage in ‘community support’ initiatives, we are reminded of the inter-dependence between individuals and systematic nature of our communities
Our direct engagement in communities, leads to a more informed understanding of the prevailing mental health problems. This in turn encourages us to look for tailor-made solutions, to address the needs. Lastly, by pulling together, we get to work together with other stakeholders, to achieve collective community goals. Win win for the community.
